Step 1: Nominations
Students must first be nominated by a teacher, counselor, faith or civic leader, or other community member. Nomination forms are due November 15, 2016 and can be found here.
Step 2: Invitations
Once nominations are reviewed, application materials will be sent directly to students invited to apply.
Step 3: Applications
Students will submit their application materials via an online portal or postal mail/fax. The application requires basic information about the student and family as well as short answer and essay responses. In addition, students will be prompted to provide school records and contact information for recommendations.
All application materials are due January 10, 2017.
Step 4: Interviews
Students selected for interviews will be notified in late January 2017. Interview dates are February 10, 11, and 18. Times and sign-ups will be communicated at a later date.
Step 5: Decisions
Application materials and interview notes will be reviewed and students will be notified of their admission status in March 2017.
