Sarah Ash

Tutor

Sarah (she/her) is a sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Biology on the Microbiology track with minors in bioinformatics and medical humanities. After 2 gap years performing research, she plans to pursue an MD/PhD before contributing to antiviral research and development. Sarah’s passion lies in virology, where she has gained research experience through a multitude of avenues, including her work analyzing host cell receptors for susceptibility to the Sindbis virus in the Michael Diamond lab.

As a Washington University Student Associate, Sarah works with her colleagues to improve student experience and enhance sense of community through organizing events and providing students support to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys dancing, spending time with friends, and doing community service.
